Re-publish Survey And Retain Existing Data

If you have re-edited a live survey with only minor changes, such as text changes or added an additional question, you may want to retain the existing data when you re-publish the survey.

1. To publish and retain data, click ‘Retain data’ in the dropdown beside the [Publish!] button to keep all existing survey responses
2. Then click [Publish!] button to set survey to 'Live'
3. You will be redirected to the Activity Summary Screen. For more information see Deploy > Activity.
   
   
4. In the History tab you can see the new version of your survey have now the status “active”, the status of previous versions have not changed.For more information see Deploy > History.
